The Silver Cup was started 33 years ago by Mike & Linda Markkula to celebrate their 25th Anniversary and gather friends for a fun weekend of ski racing and parties and friends. The event has taken place every 2 years since then. The 2026 Silver Cup will celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary & the 18th Silver Cup event. Join us for 3 days of ski racing in the mornings with pro coaches, plenty of freeskiing, non-skier activities, fabulous meals and entertainment, great favors, nightly parties and more!

Accommodations
Telluride & The Peaks Resort & Spa is the host hotel for the Silver Cup 2026. Please see the Accommodations page for booking information. Accommodations are not included in the registration fee and must be booked separately by contacting the hotel directly. Rooms are limited and 1st come 1st serve so book early!
